Noble Ale Works is always accepting applications for both part-time barback positions and part-time beertending positions at our tasting room located in the Platinum Triangle area of Anaheim, CA, just off the 57 Freeway at Katella near Angel Stadium and Honda Center.

BARBACK:

Job Requirements:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented, high-volume, fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to communicate fairly and objectively with others.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Open availability including nights, weekends, and possibly some holidays.
  • Must have passion and strong knowledge of Craft Beer, including but not limited to various beer styles, ingredients, serving etiquette, etc.
  • Must have previous service industry.
  • Ability to lift/carry loads up to 165lbs, stand for long periods of time, and stoop/use step stool as needed.
  • Must be a Certified Beer Server (part of the Cicerone Certification Program).
  • Must have LEAD certification (or acquire it within 60 days of hiring)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Exude positive, friendly attitude and provide exemplary customer service to our clientele.
  • Retrieve empty glassware from tasting room and keep washing/replenishing glassware throughout shift.
  • Move and/or replenish stock of kegs and retail bottles in walk-in refrigerator as needed.
  • Clean, stock and maintain all service/tasting room areas, bathrooms, retail displays, and parking lot.
  • Take direction from beertenders and assist them with any tasks or projects as needed.
  • Keep customers within regulated service guidelines (e.g., no drinking outside, no service to those who are intoxicated, no service after last call) and ask them to vacate premises as needed.
  • Undertake any additional duties/projects as assigned.

BEERTENDER:

Job Requirements:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.

  • Must have passion and strong knowledge of Craft Beer, including but not limited to various beer styles, ingredients, serving etiquette, etc.
  • Must be a Certified Beer Server (part of the Cicerone Certification Program).
  • Must have previous service industry, cash handling, & point of sale (POS) experience.
  • Ability to lift/carry loads up to 165lbs, stand for long periods of time, and stoop/use step stool as needed.
  • Must have LEAD certification (or acquire it within 60 days of hiring).

Job Responsibilities:

  • Exude positive, friendly attitude and provide exemplary customer service to our clientele.
  • Pour and serve beer in appropriate glassware according to Noble’s standards of service.
  • Move and/or replenish stock of kegs and retail bottles in walk-in refrigerator as needed.
  • Clean, stock and maintain all service/tasting room areas, bathrooms, retail displays, and parking lot.
